OSDCloud: ARMed and Ready
Tuesday May 6, 2025 3:00pm - 4:45pm CDT
Description:
We're going to spend this time reviewing the new OSDCloud for 2025. While ARM64 support is certainly big news, there's lots more to cover in this session

What's New, Fun Facts, and Oddities:
  • OSDCloud is driven by a Workflow that uses something like a Task Sequence
    • You'll be able to create your own Workflows (soon)
    • And use your own Modules (soon)
    • With your own functions (soon)
  • You create your WinPE Boot Image with Visual Studio Code
    • So you can ask questions to GitHub Copilot about WinPE
    • But go to the OSDWorkspace session for more on that
      • https://mms2025atmoa.sched.com/event/e4f11815615c3663a7df37d3c01a8980
  • If you use use OSDCloud today, you're also installing OSD.Catalogs
    • They're not being used (yet)
    • Catalogs will be updated daily frequently
    • This includes DriverPacks
  • OSDCloud v1 will be phased out
    • There is a timeline for destruction
  • There are more OSDCloud changes coming this year
    • MSP's will be happy

Session Demos:
